DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT FOR .NET DEVELOPER IN NY

Role : .net Developer
Location : NY


Minimum of 4 years experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, system testing, technical and user documentation, software conversions available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.

The minimum core competencies required for this position are:

• At least 3-5 years programming
• Strong object oriented programming and design
• Strong C# 3.0 and ASP.NET 3.5 programming experience
• Strong experience with SQL (e.g. ADO.NET)
• Experience with XML and Web Services
• Good knowledge of .NET 3.5
• Experience working with ASP.NET Ajax and Ajax Toolkit
• Awareness of cutting-edge and emerging web interface technologies (e.g. Web 2.0 technologies)
• Computer Science or related degree
• Public sector experience with Financial applications (FAMIS/ShopDoe) (Highly Desired)

Some exposure to the following:

• Unit testing (e.g. nUnit/MSTest or similar tool)
• Design patterns (e.g. Abstract Factory, Factory Method, Singleton, etc…)
• Team Foundation Server 2010
• Experience working on an agile team
