DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT FOR .NET DEVELOPER IN NYC

Responsibilities:

• 4+ years of professional experience in ASP.NET, HTML, HTML5/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
• Fluent in .NET 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET (C# and VB)
• Strong demonstrated experience developing web-based applications with the Microsoft .NET framework and with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 is required
• Familiarity with developing reports using SQL-Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience with MVC, Entity Framework
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) experience
• Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications and changes according to requirements
• Skilled at using web services based on SOAP, XML and JSON
• Expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010/2012
• Experience in Unit Testing using MSTest & TFS 2010
• Experience using mobile technologies a plus
• Experience with Telerik controls a plus
• Experience with Microsoft BizTalK a strong plus
• Experience within the financial services industry
• Ability to work in a team environment on projects shared between multiple developers, as well as independently on assigned tasks and projects
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills


Experience with the following also desired:

• Design patterns (e.g. Abstract Factory, Factory Method, Singleton, etc.)
• Team Foundation Server 2010
• Experience working on an agile team
