DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT OF ORACLE DBA IN NY

Role : Oracle DBA
Location : NY

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Oracle database administration on a Unix Sun/Solaris and AIX environment.
• Strong experience with Oracle Streaming, Replication and ETL process.
• Strong experience with Oracle ASM storage management.
• Strong experience with Oracle RAC implementations.
• Strong experience with SQL coding and tuning.
• Experience with Oracle 11G, Oracle RAC, Oracle Grid, RMAN, Unix Shell scripting, database tuning, and configuration.
• Individual will be required to provide production 24/7 coverage on rotating shift and support weekend implementations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation
• Experience working with Implementations in a government or civil service environment.
• Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required
• Experience working within a matrix environment

Education:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in a technical/business discipline or 2-4 years practical technical/business experience.
