Pardon the near repeat question but does anyone have experimental evidence or experience with gene activity when cloning a CDS with or without the native UTRs? Im talking eukaryotic expression and assume gene is from same kingdom. Still curious as to just how gimped the expression gets if you just constitutively express the protein's CDS and then terminate. No native or consensus 5' or 3'UTRs. Thanks!
