It's my pleasure to introduce Bricobio, our DIYbio group in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! We started at the end of last August with a kickoff party. Over the course of the months since then, we've been hosting biweekly meetings where we'll discuss different ideas for projects, funding sources and possible locations for our lab. Also, we did a workshop with the Genomikon kit. Our next event is going to be a brewing workshop starting next week, where we'll be learning brewing in a biological context. We are happily making headway in our search for a space, and project development.

C'est ma plaisir d'introduire Bricobio, notre group de DIYbio en Montreal, Quebec, Canada! On a commencé à la fin d'aout dernière avec une petit fête. Au cours des mois suivant, on faisait des rencontres chaque deux semaines quand on discutait des idées pour des projets, des sources pour des fonds, et des endroits potentielle pour notre lab. Aussi, on a fait un atelier du kit Genomikon. Notre prochaine événement sera un atelier de brassage qui commence la semaine prochaine. On va apprendre la brassage en contexte de biologie. Nous sommes content en faisons de progrès dans notre recherche pour un espace et développement des projets.
