Re: [DIYbio] Re: Anyone in México?

Hi Mathieu,

I just finished reading your paper. Very interesting. I am actually looking for better ways to fabricated high quality PDMS microfluidic channels for our biosensor prototype and I liked your idea. So, you got up to ~25 micrometers resolution channels?
I like the idea of increasing the evanescent field using those CNP over the surface, however the hydrophobicity increase is a drawback in my case. I will keep looking for similar approaches. Great work! Mexican science ;)

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel.

I am at the School of Science, UNAM. We should definitely talk when you come back and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Best of luck in your PhD.

Saludos!

Hi Mathieu,

I am mexican as well and I have been following DIYbio for some time waiting for the back to Mexico. I am currently doing my PhD in Barcelona, but as soon as I go back to Mexico (2017?) I want to start with a DIY bio lab. Where are you located?

Regards,
Daniel

Hi.
I have been following DIYbio for a while now as I knew some day I would be ready to try and connect microfabrication to the "bio-world" and now I think it's time to start being active. I can offer DIY capabilities in instruments and microfabrication in general.

So, first step: is there anyone from Mexico already active or running DIYlabs?
