Title: SAP ABAP
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Location: Madison, New Jersey
Job Description:
Understands requirements from functional specifications and able to implement the solution based on technical specification. Good knowledge about quality process and have used in projects. Must have knowledge of basic ABAP programming language and able to do developments in basic ABAP areas like Reports, BDCs, SAP-Scripts/ smart forms , module pool programming and is aware about the enhancement techniques to be used in ABAP. Should have at least 2 - 4years of SAP -ABAP experience and 1 implementation of SAP Project(Laterals) or has exposure to at least one support project(Laterals) experience in SAP
Responsibilities:
· Understands requirements from functional specifications clearly and is able to map the requirements to prepare Technical specification .
· Implements the solution based on technical specification and resolves issues independent lyin the areas of own skills.
· Good knowledge about quality process and also guide the team- mates in using the various quality tools.
· Able to mentor 2-3technical consultants and support them in developing solutions. Along with Basic ABAP capabilities , candidate must have basic knowledge in one of the other areas such as Data migration techniques or conversant with basic knowledge of ALE/ IDOCs or Any one of the Advanced ABAP areas which includes : 1. BAPIs and performance tuning , 2. Enhancement techniques 3. Workflow 4.Smart forms 5. ABAP upgrade 6. Unicode conversion Should have at least 2 - 4years of experience in SAP ABAP and has at least 2 implementation projects' experience and/or has exposure to support projects.
· Understands the functionality of the requirement and creation of Technical Specification for the object. Knowledge about Payroll, Time Management, Payroll Driver Program, Uploading time data(CATS), Running the payroll. Good knowledge about the Benefits Module, Payroll Related Infotypes, Payroll status record, Payroll control record, Posting data to FI. ALE/IDOC,BADI's related to Benefits/Time Management/Payroll.
· Knowledge about HR Upgrade project and Unicode Conversion.
