if you need a 10bp ladder, can't you just order a 10bp primer and run that? I get an almost visable smear when I do pcrs (I add a lot of primer because I am lazy and it usually works) for 40bp primers.

$3 for PVDF seems reasonable, maybe overkill for some applications,
could be cheap for times when you aren't sure and don't want you
filter melting and contaminating downstream stuff...


Are those ladder prices for real? That's a really good price! I'll
need 10bp ladder soon, though I doubt there'd be enough demand for you
to stock that. (but let me know if there is!)
