I know, this is more diy transhumanism than diy bio, but I'm wondering if there is someone capable of building such a device.

I read about this like many years ago. 

Recently, it came to my mind again. 

I mean, the limiting factor of me isn't brainpower yet, but rather the money. However, boosting brainpower still sounds nice.

The effect is just temporar though, but that may also be the good thing about it. 

Btw, it would give a good kickstarter, just sayin' :D
