Job Description:
Web Services Java Architect/Developer** --Design, develop and maintain a set of web-services for the NCR Enterprise Platform. · Design and implement web-services that support all the “ilities” (i.e. scalability, reliability, maintainability, extensibility, security etc..) · Review and verify code to ensure alignment technical architecture and design. · Participate in Scrum as a team member. · Incorporate behavior driven testing practices into coding. · Ensure developed web-services are incorporated into our CI environment Education/Skills Required: · A minimum of 6+ years experience in software architecture, design, and development · Strong experience with the Java programming language · Minimum of 2 years experience developing Enterprise Applications that run 24/7 either public or private. · Experience developing Web Services: SOAP or REST · Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience · Experience with the following programming frameworks: JEE and Spring · Experience with one of the following relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL · Experience with one or more Continuous Integration tools: Hudson, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, SVN, Nexus · Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
