Role
The technical lead designs and develops web applications for our client and their Channel Partners, their clients and the general public. S/he will act as part of a collaborative development team and identify new methods, tools and designs to enhance the company’s web presence.
Responsibilities:
•Completing the analysis, user interface design, and programming needed
•Writing, testing, and maintaining software code to implement design concepts for web-based products
•Implementing program updates/improvements to address environment changes due to operating system and browser enhancement
•Suggesting and implementing new techniques and presentation formats to keep the web site current and meeting or exceeding current web standards
Required Skills:
•Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in software development
•Strong technical background in: VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Transact SQL, HTML, and JavaScript. Experience designing web applications for use with multiple web browsers on multiple platforms. Mobile and responsive design experience a plus. MVC and web API also a plus.
•Analytical skills and judgment to identify opportunities with high potential for success. Ability to resolve complex technical issues and make recommendations. Proven experience in Object-oriented Design, relational databases, and advanced algorithms.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain flexibility in adapting to changing conditions. Must be highly motivated and results oriented.
•Excellent communication and client management skills
Nice to Have Skills
•Experience in graphical user design
•Prior experience working in educational publishing area
