On second glance, it could even be a nasty joke by some sharpies. The concept could have originated like this:
"So, if we promote this crap/nothing with all the usual bells and whistles, will it still sell?
If so, let's do it! No on will be able to arrest us for any crime. It is kind of criminal, but think of
the fun we'll have on the beach with our air fare paid and a week's hotel bills and a little expense account for food.
We probably won't even have to order cheap potatoe salad!"

And then they go viral and get $61K! They shift to staying on the beach for a month, then tour the
world for another 3 months laughing all the way.
