Role : Java Architect
Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration : Long Term
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead resource responsible for the overall design and development of applications and systems
- Define requirements and create architectural specifications.
- Provide leadership to client and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in all phases of design and development; mentor team members as needed.
- Lead and coordinate development activities and be the anchor of technical expertise with onshore and offshore technical teams
- Help ensure projects are delivered successfully, on-time, and within budget.
- Ensure the proper translation and validation of system requirements into software design through iterative sessions with Product Management and other SME’s
- Implement and enforce engineering best practices using modern standards and patterns
- Review unit test plans, tests, and code coverage to ensure high quality delivery
- Implement engineering excellence by enforcing regular code reviews, continuous integration, high test code coverage, on-going code refactoring and adequate documentation
- Ensure correct usage of industry standard software and frameworks
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven leadership ability in a Java Technical Lead Role (6 Years) with leading teams both on and offshore
- Solid working knowledge and development experience with JavaScript (6 Years)
- Solid working knowledge and development experience with J2EE and Spring/Hibernate frameworks (6 Years)
- Experience leading development teams spread across multiple locations.
- Experience working directly with internal and external client SME's
- Strong written and verbal communication Skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with Sofia/Mule
