Role: Visual Designer

No of Openings: 1

Location: Cary, NC

Duration: 6 + months

 

 

Responsibilities:

                         Define the user experience of the learning platform with a focus on visual design

                         Create the Style Guide for the platform and high resolution mockups (including icons)

                         Collaborate with the Information Architect and deliver compelling designs that not only satisfies user goals but is also contemporary in look and feel

                         Apply usability standards and industry best practices

                         Successfully present designs to cross-functional team to elicit constructive feedback and actively participate in design reviews

Required Skills:

 

                         Solid knowledge of common design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Axure, Visio, Illustrator

                         Solid visual and interaction design skills

                         Fluent in usability standards, design heuristics and responsive design techniques

                         Good understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall etc.

                         Excellent written and verbal skills

                         Strong knowledge of UX processes and methodologies

                         Appreciation of technical issues around web development and the ability to work with technical team

                         Requirement Analysis

Nice to Have Skills

                         Knowledge of the learning domain
