Anyone interested in attending the SynBio axlr8r demo day in SF, next Tuesday, September 23? (And then rush back to hear Simona and me talk about Ebola at 7pm, of course!)

Lots of cool topics, including poop-free civet coffee, mind-blowing yeast, and our friends/competitors Muufri with their artificial milk project!

Patrik

Hey Patrik,
I wanted to invite yourself, CCL(and any other biohackers you know) for the Synb.io Demo Day on 9/23 at Runway.is. This summer we ran a bit of an experiment to see if you could go from Idea to Biotech prototype in 3 months and I'm happy to say it was a success. I'm even happier to say that two of the teams came from Biohackerspaces (BricoBio and Open Biolab Graz).

The Companies:
Afineur: Civit-Free Kopi Luwak Coffee
Benthc Labs: Bulletproof Hagfish Silk
HyasynthBio: THC producing Yeast
Kilobaser: DNA Synthesizer
Muufri: Animal Free Milk
RevBio: Color Changing Petunias

We will also be announcing the launch of another biotech accelerator kicking off on January in a new Indie.Bio space we're building.
