Role  BI Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Key Responsibilities:
The Global Talent Acquisition Technical Advisor will be responsible for all reporting and analysis for GTA operations and will be a key enabler of the GTA reporting delivery model, supporting the GTA Business Units. The individual will draw upon deep experience and understanding of Database design, Business Intelligence outputs, reporting, analytics, problem-solving and consultative skills. S/he will develop and deliver the architecture, design, tools and methods to monitor, measure, and analyze GTA performance.
The Technical Lead of Global Talent Acquisition Reporting & Business Intelligence will lead the technical development of a GTA-wide reporting and business intelligence capacity for ongoing reporting and analytics operations. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Global Talent Acquisition Reporting & Business Intelligence, GTA, and will be based in Salt Lake City, San Jose, Omaha, or another Client hub location.

• Assist Senior Manager of GTA Reporting and Business Intelligence in the technical design of current and future reporting systems, processes and reporting outputs. The scope of this position ranges from advocating for proper Database design and architecture with HRDS, IT, Finance and other stakeholders to aiding in the design of specific reporting outputs for external and internal GTA reporting.
• Responsible for all operational reporting in support of the GTA Global functions and Business Units.
• Collaborates with GTA leaders to identify, define, and implement technical solutions and reporting processes and outputs.
• Provides accurate, actionable, and decision-quality data and analysis to assess operations and program effectiveness.
• Consults with HRBP's, COE's , HR Leadership and business analytics teams globally to understand existing capabilities and reporting needs and designs and builds dashboards to ensure optimal reporting and analytics for clients.
• Partners closely with IT to build user requirements into data warehouse. Writes test cases and participates in testing data warehouse and bugs (ensuring accurate data).
• Advocates for GTA reporting needs in regards to Reporting Technology Roadmap globally establishing the strategy & framework for HR analytics and reporting
• Educates and trains users (Business Operations Specialists, HRBP's, COE's, and Business Clients) of HR data on existing and new reporting tools
• Engage with cross functional teams to establish HR data standards

The successful candidate will possess:
8+ years of relevant and exempt level business and technical experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in HRMS systems (e.g. SAP, Workday), ATS systems (e.g. Brass ring) and/or data visualization technologies (e.g. Tableau). Candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of the HR function as well as database architecture and report design including 5+ years of analytics & reporting experience and 5+ years’ experience with SQL, or Business Intelligence reporting tools and SAP is required.
He/she must be able to leverage this experience and knowledge to effectively influence key decisions in the successful achievement of business initiatives. As an individual contributor, He/she will demonstrate exceptional abilities to collaborate, communicate, and enable data-driven decisions to deliver desired outcomes within established timeframes.

The Technical Advisor will show evidence of the following:
• Deep and practiced knowledge of business intelligence concepts including Extract Transform and Load (ETL), report delivery strategies, dashboards, master data management, data architecting, analytics, data warehousing , metadata management, security filtering by role and audience targeting.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and experience applying these skills within complex technical programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with various online service delivery channels.
• Experience with SAP HCM preferred
• Experience in utilizing various database query languages required
• 5+ years of analytics & reporting experience
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL, or Business Intelligence reporting tools and SAP is required
• Project Management experience advantageous
• Understanding of workforce management & or back-office work distribution scheduling processes is a plus
• Ability to work effectively with others, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-departmentally.
• Ability to leverage existing and emerging data modeling techniques
• Highly developed interpersonal and consultative skills with the ability to mediate between business and technology domains.
• Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency preparing clear and concise project presentations, business cases, project proposals/strategies, and data analysis with conclusions and recommendations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of working with geographically dispersed teams of professionals to deliver results.
• Exhibit high degree of personal accountability and attention to detail.
• Experience and record of achievement managing large scale initiatives in a multi-national company.
• Ability to effectively manage data to inform decisions.
• Experience working in a global, diverse, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
• Advanced level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
