Here’s what I need:

·         MUST have experience with Site Catalyst (I CANNOT take Google Analytics in place of Site Catalyst – it MUST be Site Catalyst).  Please make sure the resume clearly states all uses of Site Catalyst in the bulleted portion of the work professional experience in addition to skills summary – I need to know EXACTLY what they did with Site Catalyst.

 

·         Must have experience in Web Trends / Web Analytics: must have experience creating reports for web analytics.

 

·         Must have experience in Web Development  Any type of experience in web technologies including HTML, PHP, CSS, etc.  They do not have to have “all” but they must have some type of experience in web development (any web technology will work).

 

Feedback from Previous Interviews: 

·         We are still in need of a candidate that is technically inclined with implementation experience but more aligned experience wise with Digital Marketing.

·         This person must be experienced in Google Analytics and SiteCatalyst, but not only with reporting and analysis – must also have WebTrends reporting/analysis/admin interface.

·         Site Catalyst and/or Web trends analytics tagging is an absolute must!

·         Must have knowledge and experience with reporting and analyzing the data. (Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst)

·         Must have implementation experience with any of the Analytics platforms required, such as Webtrends or Adobe SiteCatalyst.

·         Currently, we have no need for analysis, our main need is Web Analytics tools implementation, instrumentation and reporting. 

·         Must have reporting experience Adobe SiteCatalyst.

·         Reporting experience with WebTrends is a huge plus but not required.

·         Must have a thorough understanding of digital marketing and analytics realm.

Reporting and Analytics Developer (Site Catalyst)

Morristown, NJ

 

Reporting & Analytics Developer for a position in Morristown, NJ!  A successful Anlytics Developer will contribute to the success of analytics strategies and inititatives, and will be responsible for the technical implementation of tagging strategies as defined by the client brand team and agency partners. The primary responsibilty of the position is to create, implement and manage website tags to ensure that the analytics program delivers strong insight into on-site behavior and marketing campaigns performance across various digital platforms. Additionally responsibilities will include; testing and confirming accuracy of placed tags, data validation, dash-board and performance report assembly and communication / distribution of reports. This team member will act as the point of contact for technical implementation across multiple business units and will participate in placing and managing tags and reports over several websites.  This role is designed to champion development related to reporting, analytics and tagging.

 

The Reporting / Analytics Developer will work closely and take direction from brand and agency stakeholders. The brand and agencies will provide a Marketing Strategist whose responsibility is to gather and define requirements and formulate reporting strategies and KPIs from a business perspective. The Reporting / Analytics Developer will then be responsible for working with the Strategist and the assembled  business requirements to define page tags; structure(s) and placement, execute tag insertion via code development, validate the data points being collected, script report outputs and create reporting dashboards. Additional responsibilities will include acting as a point of contact for reporting and implementation changes.

 

The ideal candidate will also have supporting web development skills including HTML and experience with one or more programming languages (PHP, java, java script, MySQL, SQL, etc.). These additional skills may be leveraged directly as part of the developer’s primary reporting responsibilities and/or the developer may be called on for other projects that require web development.

 

Generally the candidate will be assigned to projects according to skill set and may be involved in multiple projects at a given time.

Primary Reporting / Analytics Qualifications:

·         Extensive hands on coding experience as related to page tag development and placement

·         Experience working with and implementing tags for SiteCatalyst & WebTrends Reporting Applications

·         Experince working with and implementing tags for use within Adobe SiteCatalyst Reports & Analytics tools

·         Design and develop various reports, applications, code syntax and utilities that can be leveraged across multiple business units

·         Practical understanding of web standards, protocols and development libraries

·         Experience with tagging high-function web components (videos, carousels, virtual events, lead generation forms, flash, campaign components, multi-state pages, etc.)

·         Experience developing tagging for Desktop and Mobile websites

·         Knowledge and applied experience with digital marketing strategy and analytics, including site, social media, SEM, SEO, and display advertising

·         Proven experience in a data driven technical role

·         Program solutions that are scalable, standardized and flexible

Additional Qualifications:

·         Perform maintenance on existing reports and provide resolution as enhancement or repairs.

·         Knowledge or understanding with hands on coding / integration, APIs, etc. associated with social channels (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, etc.)

·         Knowledge or understanding of Visual Basic, or SQL experience for report automation

 

Web Dev:

·         Strong HTML skills (including browser compatibility knowledge) required (HTML5 experience recommended)

·         Web image optimization / preparation using Photoshop required

·         SQL/MySQL skills experience

·         JavaScript/JQuery experience

 

Required:

·         Required to have a minimum of 2-3 yrs of industry experience and/or an undergraduate degree in a related field (Computer Sciences, Multimedia Design, etc.)

·         Must be able to prioritize responsibilities and meet deliverable dates with limited supervision

·         Must be able to communicate effectively using both written and verbal means

·         Must be able to comprehend requirements documents as related to business and functional needs and plan coding efforts accordingly

·         Must understand and be capable of working in a flexible environment where overtime and extra efforts may be required

·         Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for the improvement of business processes and provide assessments and recommendations for data manipulation and reporting.
