Role QA AUTOMATION ROLE

Location: Austin, TX
Duration– 6 Months

JOB DESCRIPTION

Familiarity with Microsoft-based products and technologies
• Working knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, and/or Mongo databases
• Familiarity with software security
• Familiarity with testing in a cloud based environment preferably Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Experience using tools like PERL, Python or something similar to compare and validate data
• Programming experience with .Net, C#, Javascript, CSS or other object oriented programming language
• Experience building automated testing solutions using WatiN, Ranorex, WinRunner, QTP, SOAPUI, Selenium, or similar tools
• Hands-on exposure to performance testing techniques and tools like LoadRunner
• Experience working with integrated software and core financial processing systems common in the Finance/Banking industry
• Automation tools: WatiN, Selenium, Ranorex, SOAPUI. Other tools that would be eye-catching are: NUnit (this is a unit testing framework), Visual Studio Professional (this is a development IDE), Microsoft Test Manager (testcase repository), Mercurial (source code repository), VMware (software virtualization), Jira (Agile requirements and defect tracking)
