Role Solution Architect

Location St. Louis, MO

Duration Long Term

 

 

Successful candidates need to:

·         Understand our clients' challenges and requirements

·         Design and articulate solutions that leverages Salesforce technology and other applications and tools that provide our clients integrated enterprise class solutions

·         Engage with prospects in scoping and discovery sessions, offering best practice recommendations, and solution ideas and suggestions

·         Provide functional and technical project leadership in partnership with the project manager and business consultants

 Many of our solution architects has some combination of prior experience across consulting, technology architecture, engineering, and sales.

 Project Responsibilities

·         Leads requirements gathering and/or design workshops for complex projects

·         Provides overall Salesforce functional expertise

·         Provides overall systems architecture expertise in order to relate to and build upon existing client environments

·         Collaborates with technical resources to design technical solutions as well as to support the technical resources in the development process

·         Develops or contributes to data migration and/or systems integrations strategy and develops data mappings

·         Develops or contributes to training strategy

·         Architects creative solutions that solve our client's business problems

·         Leads and facilitates project discovery to define business, functional, and technical requirements

·         Defines business processes using CRM & SFDC best practices

·         Develops data integration and migration strategies

·         Provides guidance and expertise on SFDC and cloud technologies

·         Builds  & Deploys Salesforce solutions

·         Manages and mentors junior team members

·         Works with clients to understand their needs, provide meaningful solutions and build strong relationships

 

Pre-Sales Responsibilities

·         Leads scoping calls

·         Offers best practice advice and recommendations to clients often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM strategy

·         Supports Pursuit Lead and leads solution discussions for proposal presentation calls, etc.

·         Defines project functional scope and assumptions

·         Estimates project services for full project/implementation based on scope defined during presales process

 

Required Skills:

·         5+ years of experience delivering consulting services, in client-facing roles that provided experience with all aspects of systems implementation, including 3+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce

·         Proven track record of success of working with business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and signoff

·         Deep understanding of SFC coding concepts and practices. Able to identify the need and recommend the use of apex and Visual Force to meet a business requirement.

·         Strong understanding of database design concepts, data migration and data integration

·         Experience with Data Loader, CastIron, Boomi, Informatica is a plus

·         Strong technical writing skills. The ability to take the lead role in developing comprehensive functional specification documents, process flow diagrams, solution design documents,, use cases, test plans,  and training documentation.

·         Demonstrates excellence in understanding complex business processes and ability to apply scenarios to Salesforce "Story-lines" as well as make business process modification suggestions to align with Salesforce best practices

·         Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; executive level presence and experience facilitating meetings

·         Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical business users from various backgrounds including sales, support and marketing

·         Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer certification required. Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Certification will be required but are not a pre-requisite for the role.

·         Experience with both agile and waterfall implementation methodologies

·         B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
