Role Solution Architect

Location St. Louis, MO

Duration 12+ months ongoing

Manager will skype but prefers mid-west candidates.

-              Expert level skills in .NET/C#. 

-              Experienced with using Javascript to develop front end single page apps (SPA) with backbone and/or marionette (if don't have backbone or marionette then             angular.js or ext.js will be OK).  The more the better…..

-              Also must have experience using REST services and Web API within .NET.

-              Some Agile experience is a MUST but most importantly the ABILITY TO DELIVER and complete tasks/deadlines.

-              Person will take "ownership" of technology stack and help direct and evaluate future tools/technologies to use.

-              Person will build business processes, evaluate what rules engine to bring inhouse, etc.

-              Experience with prototyping, proof of concept (POC), and MENTORING on new tools.

-              Manage common code repositories. 

-              Help build common frameworks for development as well as tutorials to TEACH/MENTOR developers. 

JOB DESC:

Looking for someone with significant experience developing in our technology stack.  More focus on system architecture and backend development (.Net, workflows, processes, service architecture, systems integrations).  7+ years' experience writing hands on code, and at least 2 years' experience as a lead/architect role with this technology.   Candidates for this role should be innovators.  I'm looking for people that have a true passion for their work and software development in general.  These candidates should have a track record of driving change in previous engagements.  This position will be instrumental in the technology decisions that will drive our business for the next decade.  Day to day, an application architect will investigate new technologies that fit with our current project portfolio, prototype applications/systems using those technologies, take ownership for our common assemblies and packages, maintain our development standards and practices across all teams, and present new assemblies or standards to the entire development staff.
