Web Engineer configures and supports Web & Application server environments for production, Q/A model and D/R implementations. Position includes admin role for Software deployments, SSL Certificate Management, Application function, Performance monitoring.
Job Requirements:

• Minimum Five (6) years of IT support experience.
• Working experience with Windows 2003/2008 OS and LINUX.
• Advanced knowledge of IIS, Apache Tomcat HTTP Server
• Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of constituencies is essential.
• Ability to work on off hours as needed
Responsible for the administration and maintenance of production software includes implementing new features, configure/customize new and existing software products, create and maintain software/ file security (internal / External), develop automatic routines to enhance production tasks eliminating manual intervention / tasks, modify, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing software, work with vendor to customize new software, develop ways to improve an optimize production. Demonstrates specific technological expertise in highly utilized application packages including but not limited to CRM (Salesforce), ERP (PeopleSoft), RPTG (Cognos)/ETL (DataStage), or other (PEGA, Sharepoint, PAM, Ariba, etc).
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience. Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.
Job Description:
Provide support for all middleware components and applications that are running on Windows 2003/2008 Servers and LINUX.
Attend status meetings and participate in the development of new platforms.
Provide feedback to management concerning the success or failure of new initiatives.
Adhere to standards for resolution, documentation and quality review times and monitor performance against standards.
Provide training and mentoring to entry levels staff.
