I am a high schooler currently pursuing a research project to find natural compounds that can decrease the accumulation of αSynuclein in a strain of the nematode C. elegans (the strain is afflicted with Parkinson's disease, and a protein commonly associated with Parkinson's disease is αSynuclein).

The protein is tagged with Yellow Fluorescent Protein (YFP), which requires a fluorescence microscope for viewing.

I was wondering if I anyone has a fluorescence/epifluorescence microscope that I could use.

I am located in San Jose, CA, so anyone in the South Bay would be preferable (but I am willing to travel anywhere in the Bay Area).

I need to use it for 1 day within the next 2 weeks, for about 8 hours of data collection (including imaging at 2 hour intervals).
