Java Developer with financial/capital market
Long Term

Face to face
Responsibilities:
· Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks
· Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals
· Collaborate with bright enthusiastic consultants solving real world problems
Skills Required:
· Overall 7-8 years of experience in programming and software development, data analysis, testing, requirements definition and management, and systems design
· Previous consulting/investment banking experience preferred
· Exposure to Capital Markets, including quantitative finance, valuation methodologies, cross asset product knowledge, risk management, regulatory, settlement, trading, accounting, market and reference data management
· Experience with agile development methodologies
· Background in object-oriented design and analysis, software specification including UML diagramming, and data modeling
· Preferred technical skills include Java 6 +, XML including XSL processing and schema design skills, Hibernate, Maven, SVN, GIT, Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint, Grid Computing, Infinispan, Haddoop, Coherence, Multi-Threading and Advanced Parallel Processing Techniques, and deployment platforms such as Glassfish, Tomcat, Jetty, WebLogic
· Experience delivering performance, scalable systems
· Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
