Java Lead

The most important part is the 2-3 years Lead experience.

Candidates must have 2-3 years of JAVA Development experience PLUS 3 years of experience in a LEAD role.

Seeking exposure to ETL but this is not the focus.

This role will coordinate with the ETL lead offshore.

Provide operational leadership and contribute to software development activities for assigned project(s) by developing, documenting, testing, modifying and maintaining new and existing software solutions may include hands on development as needed.

Effectively plan all design, development and testing work to assure the pre-determined release schedule is met.

Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to the development life cycle.

Bring application(s) and technology expertise to the specification and design development process.

Provide technical expertise and leadership on assigned projects, to include establishing new infrastructure environments, interfaces and interrelationships with other applications and systems.

Provide technical guidance and expertise to other technical members of project teams.

Informatica ETL development MFT file transfers DB2 or equivalent database knowledge Unix scripting data mapping

Ameriprise experience or equivalent experience a plus

Proven experience in custom application development and technical implementations

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience and to direct technical resources

Experience with system integration implementations.

Ability to drive results Excellent problem solving, analysis and critical thinking skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills with a successful track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.

Ability to lead resources Ability to work in onsite-offshore model
