Re: [DIYbio] Invitrogen Safe Imager 2.0 broken gel cutting surface

If you can figure out how to disassemble it to get the broken glass out, Home Depot will cut glass to spec. Alternatively, you may be able to get away with just gluing a new piece of glass on top of the broken one?

Hi All,

An object was dropped on the glass cutting surface of our Invitrogen Safe Imager 2.0 blue light illuminator and has shattered the glass. The imager does still function properly. I am seeking any assistance as to replacing the glass or even if it is possible. The rep has failed to answer me.  $$ tight to replace the instrument.

Thanks
Kendra
