[DIYbio] ISMB 2012: Is it worth it?

Hello,
I am a grad student and I am debating whether to attend ISMB this year.  I received a travel fellowship and I had my poster accepted, but the fee is still a bit steep for me, considering I have no clue about how worthwhile it will be.  Can the community please offer its opinions on this conference and whether or not it is worth attending?
