Hello,
Right now BOSSLAB is looking for a few people to serve on the advisory board. BOSSLAB is an organization dedicated to helping people explore biology and access biotechnology tools. In the past we have held classes on creating and purifying proteins in bacteria, and had meetings that range from brewing beer to chatting about cool articles.
Up until now, Bosslab has been run by me, alone. However, to help improve and grow the lab, it will take more than just me. Take a look at the responsibilities below, and if you think you have the Right Stuff, email me at inactive.e@gmail.com.
- Attend at least one meeting per month
- Willing to help find and rent a space for the next iteration of the lab
- Can get into Boston
- (Most importantly) Excited to build the future of Bosslab
Other cool things that might describe you:
- Experience as an organizer
- Experience in education
- Some kind of Biology background
- You have a project you want to do
The next steps for the advisory board will be to investigate new spaces to house the lab, and to find and purchase equipment.
