ETL PL/SQL Developer.
Location : Mountain View, CA next to San jose, CA
Job Title: Sr. Developer – Data Quality and Data Archive Solutions (IDQ)
Duration : Long Term
Duties
Ø Deliver end-to-end Data Quality solutions Will perform hands-on development on the Data Quality tools such as IDQ, Data Services.
Ø Work with business to gather requirements and define the Data Quality solutions for data profiling, standardization and cleansing etc.
Ø Perform testing of the Code to meet business and technical specifications including performance tuning during development lifecycle.
Ø Work with team leadership to understand scope, derive estimates, schedule, allocate work, manage tasks/projects, present status updates to IT and business leaders as required.
Ø Act as tertiary escalation contact for issue resolution and problem management.
Ø Develop and contribute to strategic vision for Data Quality and Data Archive Define and contribute to development of standards, guidelines, design patterns and common development frameworks & components
Ø Working effectively in a distributed global team environment across US, India
Skills
Ø 8 years of hands on and implementation experience on Data Quality with strong expertise in ETL, SQL development Experience with two or more of the following or equivalent required: Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Data Services (First logic), Informatica Power Center.
Ø Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality Framework and solutions strongly preferred
Ø Strong expertise in Unix Scripting, utilizing, tuning SQL, PL/SQL on Oracle (10g, 11g) and / or Teradata preferred.
Ø Knowledge of XML / Web Services, replication technologies (oracle streams, golden gate etc) Implementation experience in projects involving Data Quality / Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data / Application Integration.
Ø Experience configuring and deploying complex client/server software on UNIX and Windows servers.
Ø Highly organized and detailed oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ø Ability to deliver end-to-end high quality solution Ability to delight customers.
Ø Must be a self-starter and quick learner and have continual desire and capability to learn Agile development experience preferred.
Ø Must be a proven top performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy and fast growing workplace
Ø Must be able to manage multiple tasks to deliver according to schedule and priority
