Job description:

The Business Intelligence (BI) Lead role is to strategically design, implement, and support BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses, and report writing.

Professional Experience:

•             Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting SAP BI applications

•             Proven experience with reporting tools, software, and other applications, including SAP ERP, BI 4.0, Data services, Rapid Marts and IBM Cognos

•             Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology    development and data              modeling.

•             Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with fill knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling

•             Experience with tier-one applications, databases and data warehouses, such as Oracle 9i, MS SQL Server, Crystal, SAP, SCM and so on

•             Expertise in Business Object tools (BOBJ), such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator and BO Universe design

•             Demonstrated ability with SAP ETL tools

•             Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices

•             Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools.

•             Experience with business requirements analysis, entity relationship planning, database design, reporting structures and so on

•             Demonstrated ability with Sybase and SQL Server databases (as well as Windows OS administration)

•             Understanding of Web services (SOAP, XML, UDDI, WSDL) and content management interfaces such as IBM WEBi.

•             Object oriented programming experience (e.g. using Java J2EE, EJB, .NET, Websphere, etc)

Education:

•             College Degree preferred; four to eight years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

•             Completion of some Professional Technical Certifications preferred (i.e ITIL, SAP Basis certification, PMP, etc.)
