The OLAP engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular or Multidimensional) model. This role will work with the Business Intelligence users and the BI Team to help design a cube with calculations, measures, KPIs, time intelligence, and advanced MDX or DAX skills. Position Requirements: Experience: • 2 years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular) models • 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL and cube processing tasks using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • 2 years of experience in developing Power View reports • 5 years of experience in writing T-SQL procedures, views, queries • Carry out training sessions to business users for SSAS Tabular models, Power Pivot, and Power View Reports • Provide support and answer "how-to" type questions from business users • Excellent attention to detail and great communication skills. • Ability and willingness to adhere to corporate development standards and documentation requirements • Ability to interpret business requirements and produce supporting data queries and result sets • Perform well under time constraints, and manage multiple tasks within assigned deadline Education: • Bachelors or Masters of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering required • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Business Intelligence Developer 2008 a plus Thanks,
