DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT FOR BA in NY

Role : Jr BA
Location : NY

SCOPE OF SERVICES 

·         Work closely under the direction of the Functional lead and with stakeholders from DoITT, the Mayor's Office, FDNY, DOB, DEP, ECB, DCP, DOF, DOHMH, DOT, HPD, LPC including managers, line employees, and IT staff.

·         Must have technical background

·         Define business and technical requirements of data exchanges between agencies

·         Create flow-charts, data flow diagrams and process diagrams

·         Create business and logical data models

·         Create Data Dictionaries for stakeholder agencies applications

·         Work with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products

·         Develop integration and information exchange protocols

Conduct requirement meetings with stakeholder and document the results

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

·         A minimum of 4 years of experience gathering and documenting requirements and/or working in an IT project

·         Experience with data analysis and data mapping

·         Strong working knowledge with the following tools: Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

·          Ability to create presentations and must have excellent oral and written communication skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

·         Prior government project experience (NYC strongly preferred).

·         A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

·         Familiarity with the data integration and exchange concepts

·         Familiarity with NIEM mapping and schema development
