DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT .NET Developer NY

Role : .net developer
Location : NY

The candidate will:

·         Work closely with the Project Manager / Business Analyst to understand the business and functional requirements for Phase 3 of BMS which includes Capital Budgeting]

·         Lead a small team of developers providing technical and design guidance and direction in work performed

·         Create technical design documents

·         Develop Microsoft SQL 2008 database and .NET middle-tier objects

·         Develop BMS user interface utilizing the latest .NET technologies

·         Develop Microsoft SSRS 2008 reports as per requirements

·         Perform unit testing of all codes

·         Work closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure system is working properly

·         Assist with the deployment of application

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·         Proficient with C#, ASP.Net and .NET framework 3.5/4.0 (minimum 5 years of experience)

·         Proficient in writing T-SQL code in SQL Server 2005/2008 environment (minimum 5 years of experience) including complex stored procedures

·         Proficient in creating SSRS 2008 reports (minimum 1 year experienc)

·         Understand basic design patterns

·         Proven track record of unit and system testing own code

·         Experience leading in the design and architecture of web-based-3tier software systems

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·         Experience with j-query libraries

·         Experience with UI Design

·         Experience in Microsoft team foundation server environment

·         Experience in implementation of popular Microsoft design patterns

·         Experience collaborating with cross functional teams on large-scale projects

·         Experience in multi-tier Web-based application (minimum 3 years of experience)

·         Experience in continuous build and deployment (NAnt or CruiseControl.net or any .Net build tools)

·         Experience in automated unit testing methodologies and tools, such as NUnit or any .NET tool.

·         Experience working in Agile/SCURUM development (minimum 1 year of experience)

·         Ability to quick learn and understand basic Accounting Budgeting consepts and related data

·         Familiarity with DOHMH Financial Systems

·         Familiarity with NYC Financial Systems such as FMS.
