DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT QA IN NY

Role: Sr QA
Location: NY

The Sr. QA Tester will perform the following tasks including but not limited to:

·         Working closely with Project Manager / Business analyst on understanding business requirements

·         Developing, documenting, and maintaining test plans based on business requirements

·         Executing manual test cases and documenting results in HP Quality Center

·         Creating and executing automated system and regression test scripts

·         Acquiring and creating test data, and analyzing and verifying data

·         Working closely with developers to fix identified defects

·         Cross-train other members of the team in Agile methodology, fundamental Quality Testing skills, and HP Quality Center

·         Creating and executing automated system and regression test scripts

·         Acquiring and creating test data, ad analyzing and verifying data

·         Working closely with developers to fix identified defects.

·         Cross-train other members of the team in Agile methodology, fundamental Quality Testing skills, and HP Quality Center.

The candidate should have experience writing basic select and insert SQL statements. The candidate should have four years using HP Quality Center with at least one year in an Agile environment.

·         Four or more years of current Quality Test Analyst experience developing and executing automated systems and regression test plans against user stories in an agile/SCURUM environment

·         Four or more years of quality assurance testing experience in a .NET  web environment

·         Minimum four (4) years using HP Quality Center in an Agile/SCURUM environment

·         Minimum one (1) year writing basic SQL queries

·         Experience in conducting automated regression testing utilizing HP QuickTest Pro

·         Strong VB programming Skills

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Ability to identify issues beyond what are the in requirements
