I think a few weeks ago somewhere someone said something about transcriptic. They seem pretty good for synthetic biology if you don't wanna clone that much stuff (unlike me, unfortunately) Their prices rival that of genscript for cloning and synthesis, plus they are US based. They would be a good option for the DIYbio community igem team for biobanking and such.

for 750 base pairs (synthesized) cloned into any vector it costs 330. (plus shipping). Or 200 if you send them some DNA you want cloned and a vector. Not bad, eh?
