Duration: Long term
The candidate needs to have very good communication and client facing skills.
Also needs to be strong in Microstrategy. Latest and greatest regarding Microstrategy.
Expected Outcomes of the Initial Assessment:
· Framework or Strategy for building Cubes and leveraging caching
· Additional technology or tool set recommendations to support above strategy
· Identification of low hanging/quick-win activities
· Implementation Plan for above Framework
· Proposed diagrams and architecture documentation
· Assessment of a long-term implementation roadmap
Technical Requirements:
Environment breakdown: MSI version 9.3 with two iservers connected to a 5 node Teradata cluster running version 13.10 Upgrades to MSI 9.4 and TD
14.10 are planned for this year. Please also include the following requirements in your draft SOW.
· Assess the current data model (Physical, Logical, and Semantic) for the ability to build cubes and cache reports
· Assess the current configuration of MSI
· Assess current templates and standard reports
· Assess the capabilities for identifying data sets for use in Cube building
