The developer will be responsible for tasks related to the data acquisition platform of an active global financial data warehouse and data mart:
Required Knowledge:
Educational Background or Professional Experience in the Following Areas:
• Thorough understanding of ETL using Informatica
• ETL Platforms: concepts, methodologies, processes, architectures and technologies.
• Major ETL Platforms Knowledge: Informatica, AbInitio, Talend, etc.
• Data Structures & Algorithms: Arrays, Lists, Queues, etc. Sorting, Searching, Hashing etc.
• Data Models: Conceptual, Logical, and Physical & Relational Data Model Design.
• SQL Concepts & SQL Statements Optimization and Execution. Indexes and Indexing Strategies Materialized Views, Clusters, Caching, Partitioning, and Parallel Processing.
• Unix Scripting: Shell scripts, Perl etc.
• Scheduling: Tivoli, Cron-tabs, Informatica Scheduler
