Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator :      

Responsibilities:

• Create and run Oracle VMware instances for the purpose of building a redundant, stable application hosting architecture.
• Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle Fusion Middleware software.
• Monitor and evaluate efficiency of system usage and make recommendations to management to improve performance.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Prepare, update and maintain technical documentation.
• Preventative and proactive system monitoring. 

Must Haves:

• 3 - 5 years of System Administration knowledge Redhat/Oracle Linux; certifications preferred
• Installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Middleware software in a Linux environment.
• Experience with multi-tiered application environments.
• Experience with LDAP-based enterprise directories.
• Ability to demonstrate track record of maintaining server integrity and uptime.
• Experience writing shell scripts to automate tasks.
• Proven experience troubleshooting issues that occur with the applications running on Linux servers.

Nice to have:

• Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to manage an application hosting environment.
• Web Application development.
• Java application development.
