Role: Communication Management Consultant

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 6 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Communication manager will be responsible for the collection, curation, review and publication of content across over 20 different internal communication channels on an established cadence.

·         This content includes FAQ, status reports, newsletters, blogs, PowerPoint, Office Mix and Wiki articles that are distributed across audiences within IT, O365 and Azure and span organization levels from CVP to developers.

·         The work can be completed in office or remotely with a minimum of a weekly sync with the team in Redmond and coordination with various content owners and publication channels.

·         This person will also need to work with one or two people in India, requiring early morning or late night engagements once time on a bi-weekly basis.

·         Previous communication experience with a similar large company (Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks – Boeing is probably not translatable) in an AGILE environment.

·         Multiple levels of communication; it needs to go up and down – the people who read these communications could be anybody from the Chief Technical Officer of Azure, CVPs or a developer on an IT team. Need to be able to speak to multiple audiences.

·         Experience communicating with executives

·         Experience working in the cloud – this team deals with cloud technologies and if they have no experience with them, they won't understand what they are working on.
