Role: Adobe CQ/AEM Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12 Months
About the Role
The Adobe CQ/AEM Developer will be part of a senior engineering team that has strong experience delivering world-class digital solutions to Fortune 500 companies. You will play a key client-facing role on Adobe projects, working alongside our Consulting, User Experience, Design and Engineering teams. If you are interested in a position where you will work with enterprise-class web content management systems for Fortune 1000 clients, then this is the ideal position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Build websites and applications using Adobe CQ/AEM
· Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the Adobe CQ/AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR)
· Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization.
· Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment
· Translate business requirements into Adobe CQ/AEM specific implementation specifications.
· Design and improve internal development methodologies
Desired Skills and Experience
· 3+ years relevant professional experience
· Experience working with Adobe CQ/AEM
· Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and attendant technologies
· Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment
· Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
· Ability to work flexibly and appropriate trade-offs to meet time constraints
· Experience collaborating with clients, project managers, and engineers
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile a strong plus
· Consulting experience a plus
· Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant experience
· US Work Permit required
