Position : Software Quality Analyst – Usability Testing

Location : Greensville, SC

Duration : 6 -12 months Plus

Software Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting software quality testing for a client implementation of a custom developed solution. This position will be responsible for verifying that the software released meets client requirements and is of the utmost quality while maintaining the exceptional level of professionalism and customer service standards required on the project

Mandatory need:

Experience in Hospitality/Travel Management industry preferred

Experience testing ERP solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•                     Experience in Usability Testing (at least 1 year)

•                     Review business requirements and create test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts to verify functionality and end to end processing.

•                     Develop test plans that address software scenarios, negative testing, positive testing, boundary testing, regression testing, usability, and defect retesting.

•                     Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments

•                     Adhere to quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure product quality and release readiness

•                     Document and report software defects using a bug tracking system

•                     Identify and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content

•                     Participate in business requirement review sessions to provide input on functional requirements and product designs.   

•                     Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality

•                     Identify root cause of issues reported from user acceptance testing and update test cases for retesting

•                     Test system modifications to prepare for implementation

•                     Leverage automated test scripts for test execution and update automated test scripts to test new changes

•                     Adhere to best practices in all aspects of testing

QUALIFICATIONS:

•                     Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field  

•                     Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience in software quality testing

•                     Experience in Hospitality/Travel Management industry preferred

•                     Preferable experience testing ERP solutions.

•                     Experience writing basic SQL queries

•                     Good knowledge of testing methodologies

•                     Experience working on the different phases of testing

•                     Knowledgeable on the Test and Defect Management processes

•                     Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs

•                     Proficient in testing Multi-Tenant Cloud Suite applications

•                     Proficient in using HP-ALM

•                     Coordinates testing with both on-shore and off-shore resources as assigned

•                     Preferable to have web services testing with AWS (Amazon Web Services)

•                     A smart individual who can communicate with people at different levels of an organization and possesses good communication skills both verbal and written

•                     A decisive individual who is resourceful and detail oriented

•                     A planner with technical skills, analytical ability, and good judgment. 

•                     Ability to work with peers in a team effort

•                     A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to learn quickly with a reasonable amount of direction and supervision

•                     Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and efficiently complete tasks in a fast paced environment

•                     Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays pursuant with industry demands

•                     Available to work emergency services 24/7 if required

•         Willingness to travel as the project demands
