[DIYbio] Eppur si muove!

I think this is just consistent.
It is a good thing that they outed themselves as not believing in science. You can't believe CRISPR is safe while claiming transgenesis is unsafe.

Claiming that CRISPR is safe while older methods are not would have been an easy way out, not having to admit that transgenesis has always been safe and their fearmongering and abuse of the precautionary principe has always been wrong.

Europe has always said "f** you" to empirical science, facts, on genetics while thinking we are so much smarter than these stupid Muricans who don't believe in climate change

50 years from now children in school books will laugh about this, or cry, wondering how an entire Zeitgeist could have been that stupid. Just as much as we bang our heads against the wall when we read of witch hunts, Hitler, racism, religion wars. How could people have been that stupid?

Eppur si muove
