Hi all,
-- I bought a cheap Perkin Elmer 9600 thermal cycler on ebay which was described as being in working condition, but turned out to have a defective cooling water pump.
Now the seller told me he would pay back the money, but I could keep the broken device or throw it away, as he has no use for it.
So I disassembled it and offer you the spare parts, maybe some of you have broken PE 9600 thermal cyclers and could use the parts to fix them.
The parts are all relatively easy to switch, it's quite maintenance-friendly.
I can offer you the following parts:
- heated lid
- heating unit incl. 96-well block
- chiller
- keypad
- display
- control unit
- cooling water tank
- cooling water filter
Prices are negotiable, you can make me an offer. I will ship from Germany to anywhere you want.
I would be happy if one of those parts can bring a thermal cycler back to life :)
I attached some pictures of the parts.
